The core material of Häcker worktops is mostly chipboard, onto which laminate is glued. Laminate is a composite material made up of several layers of cellulose and paper, impregnated with melamine resin, which are pressed together under high pressure and temperature. Through this process, the material becomes very resistant to collisions and wear. Modern technology allows for precise and high-quality printing of various patterns and colors on the laminate surface, making it available in numerous decors.

Countertops Häcker are available in various thicknesses: 1.6 cm, 2.5 cm, or 4 cm. Bar surfaces are available also in thicknesses of 5 and 8 cm.
